Pablo Zabaleta backs ‘force of nature’ Gareth Bale to win Player of the Year gong

Manchester City v Tottenham Hotspur - Premier League
Manchester City full-back Pablo Zabaleta has backed Gareth Bale to win the PFA Player of the Year after branding him ‘the best player in the league.’
Bale has enjoyed his best season yet in football, having scored 21 goals in 36 matches for Tottenham, helping push the club into third place in the Premier League.
And the Welshman is also favourite to be named the PFA’s Player of the Year, with the voting to take place in the next two weeks, and according to City full-back Zabaleta, Bale would be a worthy winner.
‘The best player in the Premier League? Gareth Bale – he’s a force of nature,’ explained Zabaleta when quizzed on who his PFA winner would be.
