World Cup: Cole fined £90,000 over "t**ts" tweet

Ashley Cole has been fined £90,000 for an insulting tweet in which he called the FA a "bunch of t**ts".

The Chelsea defender admitted an FA charge of improper conduct and/or bringing the game into disrepute.

Cole made the remark on Twitter after an independent regulatory commission of the governing body investigating the John Terry racial abuse case had cast doubt on Cole's evidence.
His comments were removed but the FA reacted quickly and charged the former Arsenal man, who requested a non-personal hearing.
