Ashley Young believes Rio Ferdinand could still feature for England again despite the defender's admission his international career looks to be over.

Asked about Ferdinand's England future, Young said: "He's said that he's not going to retire and he's a fantastic player.
"I've played with him this season and for England in previous seasons and he's a great player to play alongside.
"He's disappointed he's not in the squad but it's not for me to pick the squad, it's the manager."
Rooney
Another of Young's United team-mates, Wayne Rooney,Despite his ban, Young insists Rooney's presence in the Three Lions camp is a positive one.
"He's a world-class player and it's disappointing not to have him for the first two games but we've got to get on with it," added Young.
"He's been in the squad, keeping everyone happy, and that's the importance of having him round even though he's not playing the two games."
